Fuel Management for Management Level Engineers

This course is designed for all personnel responsible for bunkering fuel oil and adjusting the machinery used for treating and consuming fuel oil.

To deliver up-to-date, realistic training that provides knowledge, confidence, and competence to ensure safe and cost-effective use of bunkered fuel oil.

Training Outcome/s:

• Understand and interpret the fuel oil analysis report
• Use the analysis report to adjust relevant equipment to maximize the full potential of the fuel
• Be aware of any adverse effects the fuel may cause throughout the total fuel system
• Be aware of current regulations and guidelines asto the use of onboard fuels
• Understand the responsibilities and duties needed during the bunkering, treatment, and consumption of fuel oil
