ChartWorld eGlobe G2 Type Specific

This course is designed to provide comprehensive familiarization and training to enhance the knowledge, understanding, and skills of marine deck officers in the operational use of the type-specific ChartWorld eGlobe G2 ECDIS, thereby maintaining safe navigation.

Training Outcome/s:

• Use the controls and functions of ChartWorld eGlobe G2 ECDIS as required by the performance standards.
• Apply correct adjustment of information, including own position, sea area display, mode and orientation, chart data displayed, and user-created information layers.
• Confirm the vessel’s position by alternative means
• Use correct settings and values to suit the given conditions and ensure conformance to operational procedures, including alarm parameters for anti-grounding proximity to contacts and special areas.
• Plan a safe route, following standard bridge procedures in passage planning.
