Bridge WatchKeeping Refresher Training for Operational Level Deck Officers

This training is designed to provide refresher and update training for Operational Level Deck Officers, refreshing their competency in best management practices for bridge watchkeeping.

Training Outcome/s:

• comply with the content of Regulatory requirements and Standards regarding Bridge watchkeeping
• conduct ship handling
• adhere to the application of international regulations for the prevention of collisions at sea and RADAR capabilities and limitations
• navigate through the IALA maritime buoyage system 
• manage electronic nautical publications;     
• use ECDIS to maintain the safety of navigation
• maintain a safe navigational watch
