United Marine Training Center recognized its 10th-year service awardees and retirees during the Christmas celebration, which it held with its sister companies on 04 December 2022 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
The employees and their families filled the occasion- the tradition of extending gratitude to the company’s family members. Everyone looked stunning, wearing white, blue, and denim, per the event’s theme. Antonio Galvez Jr., UMTC President, warmly welcomed everyone and expressed his gratitude to everyone actively participating and contributing to the company’s continued success, especially during the challenging times experienced globally.
From then on, Managing Director Engr. Donald Bautista shared the same message and expressed his gratitude by dedicating a song for all employees in the latter part of the event.
After the main event, UMTC awarded rings to its 10th-year awardee, which signifies loyalty to the company. Here are the awardees:

Engr. Joel Agustin (ETO Instructor), BSN Reynaldo Andres (Deck Upgrading Instructor), C/O Victor Rene Carlos (Deck Instructor), and 2/O Randy Diamante (Deck Instructor)
While a plaque of appreciation is given to the following retirees who rendered the following years and still work with the institution as on-call instructors:

- Capt. Jesus Pascual – Deck Instructor, 13 years of service.
- Mr. Marion Powao - Workshop Instructor, 16 years of service.
- Chef Amadeo Cacho - Culinary Instructor, 9 years of service.
Sister companies joined the dance competition, and the raffle draw highlighted the event. UMTC celebrates each employee’s contribution to the company’s success.
